Treatment of severe iron deficiency during pregnancy: 2-3 tablets daily until normal hemoglobin levels are achieved. After that, treatment with one tablet daily should be continued at least until the end of pregnancy to replenish iron stores. Treatment of latent iron deficiency and prevention of iron deficiency: One tablet daily. The daily dose can be divided into separate doses or taken all at once. Fayrouz should be taken during or immediately after a meal. Ferrouz tablets can be chewed or swallowed whole.
