Paracetamol
An aniline derivative with analgesic and antipyretic properties. It blocks the central COX-2 enzyme required for prostaglandin synthesis in the hypothalamus.
Thus, it prevents the formation of fever and pain.
Indications:
Mild to moderate pain.
Fever.
