Make sure your child always uses this medicine exactly as the doctor tells you to. Contact your child’s doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. This medicine should be given to children under adult supervision. For children who have difficulty taking chewable tablets, granules are available for oral administration. Your child should take only one chewable montelukast tablet daily as prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken even if your child shows no symptoms or if they have a severe asthma attack.
