Wash and dry your hands before use. Take one test strip from the package. Close the package tightly. Insert the test strip, until it is all the way into the meter. Make sure the symbol on the meter matches the symbol on the test strip container. When you see the flashing blood drop, hold the lancing device on the side of your fingertip and press the release button. Gently press your fingertip to obtain a drop of blood.
